Adani Power shares gained 2% after the company signed a pact with Bhutan’s Druk Green Power Corporation to develop the 770-MW Chamkharchhu hydropower project. The ₹project will be developed through a 49:51 partnership, with construction expected to begin in the first half of 2027. The project is part of a broader 5,000-MW hydropower development programme.
