
Hyderabad: The Nizam’s Institute of Medical Sciences (NIMS) on Thursday released a health bulletin informing that 31 patients were admitted to NIMS two days ago following consumption of toddy.
Of the 31 patients, 27 patients were clinically stable and under observation while four patients were undergoing dialysis as part of their ongoing management. All necessary medical care is being provided. The situation is being closely monitored by the expert multispeciality team, according to NIMS medical superintendent.
At least five persons died after consuming adulterated toddy at Kukatpally.
