Cumulative storage in major dams in Karnataka at 80% capacity due to surge in inflows

Heavy rains in the catchment areas of the Cauvery and the Krishna basins have resulted in a cumulative storage of 715.6 tmc ft against the gross capacity of 895.62 tmc ft across major reservoirs in Karnataka.
