BIDAR: Following reports of patients facing hardship due to a power outage at the BRIMS (Bidar Institute of Medical Sciences) Hospital, District In-charge Minister Eshwar Khandre paid a surprise visit to the facility on Friday to take stock of the situation.
Expressing serious concern over the power outage, Minister Khandre said such incidents cannot be tolerated, especially if they occurred due to negligence. He directed the Deputy Commissioner to conduct an immediate inquiry into the incident and submit a report at the earliest. Strict action will be taken against those found responsible, he warned.
“Our government is committed to providing quality healthcare services to the public. We will ensure that patients do not face any inconvenience in the hospital,” he assured.
During his visit, the Minister interacted directly with patients to understand the quality of treatment and services being provided. He also held discussions with doctors and staff to gather details about internal issues within the hospital.
