
BENGALURU: Crazy to get more views and have more followers for his social media account landed a person identified as Dilwar Hussain in trouble after Ashok Nagar police arrested him on charge of shooting women in ‘objectionable’ manner in public places without their consent.
The ‘objectionable’ videos of women were posted on his social networking site before these ‘objectionable’ videos shot by the accused and posted on his social media account caught the attention of the police. The accused is a native of Manipur and working in Bengaluru on a part-time job.
Police said, a social media account ‘Dilbar Jaani 07’ tagged as “Bangalore Night Life” caught the attention of the social media monitoring team of the police department during their scrutiny of various media accounts and upon verification of the account, Ashok Nagar police came across videos of women shoot in ‘objectionable’ manner.
After shooting women in public and in an ‘objectionable’ manner, the police said the accused edited the videos and mixed them with songs and posted them on his social media account to draw more viewers and followers.
The police came to know these ‘objectionable’ videos of women were circulated from one particular social media account and tracked it down. As many as 20 videos of women in ‘objectionable’ manner were discovered from the accused and a First Information Report (FIR) has been registered.
