Bank of Maharashtra Q3 profit up 27%, declares 10% interim dividend(Soban News)

State-owned Bank of Maharashtra (BoM) on Tuesday posted 26.5 per cent rise in net profit to Rs 1,779 crore for the third quarter ended December 2025 with rising interest income.
The Pune-based lender had posted a net profit of Rs 1,406 crore in the October-December period a year ago.
Total income increased to Rs 8,277 crore during the quarter under review from Rs 7,112 crore in the same period previous year, BoM said in a regulatory filing.
The bank earned an interest income of Rs 7,344 crore during the quarter compared to Rs 6,325 crore a year ago.
Net Interest Income (NII) grew 16 per cent to Rs 3,422 crore in Q3FY26 as against Rs 2,943 crore in Q3FY25.
The board has approved an interim dividend of 10 per cent on the equity shares of the bank i.e., Rs 1 per share having face value of Rs 10 each for financial year 2025-26, BoM Managing Director and CEO Nidhu Saxena said during a media interaction.
