UN nuclear watchdog chief says inspectors ‘back in Iran’

IAEA inspectors have returned to Iran to restart monitoring activities after a suspension following Israeli and US strikes on Iranian nuclear facilities. Discussions are underway to determine the practical steps for resuming the IAEA’s work. This development coincides with Iran’s talks with European powers in Geneva, aimed at preventing the reimposition of sanctions under the 2015 nuclear deal.
